Private Luxury Collection is a licensed private property advisory based in Vilamoura, in Portugal's Algarve, founded by Keely Capel to help international buyers, families and their advisers buy and sell prime property across Portugal (AMI 19171).

We work with a limited number of clients at a time, on purchases, sales and property portfolios where the decision matters and the detail is easy to get wrong. Our role is to bring structure, candour and consistent representation to a market that is not always transparent.

What does Private Luxury Collection do?

Portugal rewards buyers who understand it and penalises those who don't. Planning and licensing can be complex, much of the market is not publicly visible, transactions are often structured around the seller, and professional standards vary.

We act as advisers first and brokers second. That means helping a client decide whether, where and how to buy or sell before anyone views a property, then managing the process through to completion.

How do we work with buyers and sellers?

We represent both buyers and sellers, and we are clear about which role we hold in every transaction.

For buyers: under a buyer mandate, we act solely in the buyer's interest, usually on properties outside our own portfolio. Many of our transactions are single-sided.
Where we represent both sides: if a client is interested in a property we also represent for the seller, we tell them at the outset and manage both interests separately under a declared dual mandate.
Our portfolio: some homes are marketed on our website and, where a seller wants the reach, on selected portals. Others are held privately and shared only with qualified buyers.
Alongside your advisers: we work with your lawyer and tax adviser, and introduce independent specialists where helpful.

We do not promote properties indiscriminately, and we accept new clients selectively.

Who founded Private Luxury Collection?

Private Luxury Collection was founded by Keely Capel, its Founder and Managing Director. British-Portuguese, Keely has lived and worked in the Algarve for nearly two decades, advising international families, family offices and their advisers on buying and selling property in Portugal.

A selective, relationship-led practice

Because we work with a limited number of clients at a time, we can stay closely involved from first conversation to completion and beyond. Many clients become long-term advisory relationships, returning for later purchases, sales and introductions.

International perspective, local insight

We combine an understanding of what international buyers expect with local knowledge of how Portugal actually works. That lets us explain market realities plainly, identify risks early, and support decisions that hold up over time.

We are based in Vilamoura and advise on property across Portugal. We also represent selected developments in Brazil, Montenegro and Mauritius.

We are not the right fit for high-volume transactions, speculative pricing, decisions driven by urgency, or clients looking for validation rather than independent advice.
